“Photography is a Conversation”

Sean Paul Mayfield(MFD) is a Fine Art Portrait/Documentary Photographer whose work uses storytelling and life experiences to weave images that can’t be denied from existence.

From the experience of growing up as a black gay male in the south this perspective informs the creation of his work, alongside moments, people and experiences he has encountered while exploring himself.

MFD uses a combination of digital and analog photographic methods to create images with strong moments to capture not just the imagery of a subject but the soul of it.

He has the ability to create in all environments and will go to the limits to achieve the imgaery that accurately pericives the feelings in the moment.
